According to Chen liang, this kind of power pack adopts advanced single-bearing permanent magnet generator technology, with large power, small size and high integration, and realizes modular design, modular installation and modular maintenance of locomotive power system.

In addition, this type of locomotive adopts modular structure body, simplifies the interface of large parts, and improves the economy and maintenance efficiency of locomotive operation and maintenance. The diesel engine cooling system of locomotive adopts variable frequency control overhead cooler, which not only saves the space and reduces the quantity, but also greatly improves the system efficiency compared with the traditional internal combustion power system.
