In order to ensure the safe and stable transportation of molten iron in the ironworks, adapt to the increasingly stringent environmental protection situation of the country, and keep up with the fast pace brought by the growing production of Delong Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., on September 1st, the operation workshop of the ironworks organized the official launch and operation of the newly purchased ZTY-1000 locomotive.
As of September 26, 2020, the new locomotive has been in operation for nearly a month. Through continuous tracking and statistics of its operating status and various parameters, the locomotive engine is running normally, and the technical parameters such as water temperature, water pressure, oil temperature, oil pressure, air temperature, and air pressure are in good condition and within the calibration range. The most prominent aspect is energy conservation. According to statistics, the daily fuel consumption of newly purchased locomotives in September was about 127 liters, and the monthly fuel consumption was about 3800 liters, less than half of GK1E locomotives. Based on this calculation, about 4000 liters of fuel can be saved per month compared to the same period before, which is about 16000 yuan. The annual savings can be nearly 200000 yuan, and the energy-saving effect is significant.
Secondly, with the increasingly stringent environmental protection situation in the country, the number and frequency of on-site inspections by environmental inspectors at the national, provincial, municipal, and county levels have also increased. They conduct large-scale inspections every three days and small-scale inspections every two days, which brings considerable environmental pressure to the iron and steel transportation department. Since the newly purchased locomotives were put into operation in September, the locomotives have upgraded from the previous "non road III" emission standard to "National V" emission standard, finally meeting the current national environmental protection requirements.
In short, the trend of national environmental protection forcing steel enterprises to upgrade their equipment will not change, and "energy conservation and emission reduction" will still be the top priority for steel enterprises for a considerable period of time now and in the future. As the saying goes, 'survival of the fittest is not suitable for elimination'. This is not only the law of natural biological evolution, but also the 'golden rule' for whether steel enterprises can stand invincible in the future. We will continue to work hard and accelerate the upgrading and replacement of equipment, not only for the indicators and safety of the enterprise, but also to fulfill our social responsibility. With the attitude of 'taking the world as our own responsibility', we will create a 'century old dragon'.
