Chinas first privately held high-speed rail construction technology set a domestic record

The pile foundation construction of the north main pier of the jiaojiang bridge project of hangzhou-shaotai railway, China's first privately held high-speed railway, was successfully completed on Friday, setting a record for the deepest hole in the rotary excavation of a high-speed railway bridge in China.

Jiaojiang bridge is one of the key control projects of hangzhou-shao-taiwan railway. It is designed as a cable-stayed bridge with double towers, double cable planes, four lines and steel truss girders. It is the first two-way four-line cable-stayed high-speed railway bridge in China. The project is undertaken by the China railway bridge bureau, which is involved in the construction of wuhan Yangtze river bridge, hangzhou bay cross-sea bridge, hong kong-zhuhai-macao bridge and other projects. The design and construction period of the project is expected to be 36 months.

According to wu peirong, senior vice President of fosun railway investment and general manager of hangshaotai railway co., LTD., the geological and hydrological conditions of jiaojiang river bed are special, so the engineering design and construction are extremely difficult. According to the engineering design, the extra-large bridge needs to build 8 piers in water, among which 2 main piers each contain 42 bored piles with a diameter of 2.5 meters, with a drilling depth of 143.67 meters, which is the highest in the construction of pile foundation rotary drilling in China's high-speed railway construction.

Through technical innovation, the hangzhou-shao-taiwan railway construction team and XCMG have not only pushed the project forward smoothly, but also realized multiple benefits of shortening the construction period, saving costs and improving efficiency.

Zou jimin, chief engineer of hangzhou-shaotai-taiwan railway project department of China railway bridge bureau, said that it takes 24 days on average for a single pile foundation to be perforated with conventional construction methods, while it takes 3 to 4 days for a single pile foundation to be perforated with the domestic advanced XR550D drilling machine, which can improve the work efficiency by 6 to 8 times.

The hangzhou-shao-taiwan railway project, China's first privately owned high-speed railway project, was officially signed on September 11, 2017 by the zhejiang private consortium led by fosun and the zhejiang provincial government. At the end of 2017, the hangzhou-shao-taiwan railway officially entered the construction stage. According to the plan, the hangzhou-shao-taiwan railway will strive to be completed and open to traffic in 2021.
